TRAINING CLASSES:            

All classes (EXCEPT CPR) are held on the 4th Tuesday of the Month from September through April (no training class offered in December).  Time:  7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Class location either Jackson Middle School or Champlin Brooklyn Park Academy.

September 10th, 2019, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.:  CPR/FIRST AID with Gary Moore at Jackson Middle School - Room cafeteria .  Please contact Lynn Sheforgen at gnlshefor@gmail.com to reserve a space for this class.  Class must be full.  4 more participants needed or we will have to cancel the class.

September 24th, 2019:  POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS (PBISMN.ORG) KCFIIC *Behavior/Development - Trainer Curt Slater at Jackson Middle School - Room cafeteria.
Curt Slater is a highly recognized state-wide trainer with innovative strategies to motivate positive behavior within your child care environment.  IF YOU ONLY ATTEND ONE PROVIDERS PRIDE TRAINING CLASS THIS YEAR THIS WOULD BE THE ONE TO ATTEND.  (He typically charges more than Providers Pride could ever pay a trainer; but, he has graciously offered to cut us an exceptional deal.)

Membership costs:

Providers Pride membership fee is $65.00. 

This fee includes: 7 Training classes which meet DHS requirements, Referrals, Vendors including Fire Extinguisher Checks and Flu Shot Availability.  Monthly Curriculum Packets, Newsletter, CPR Training Available for an Extra Fee.  Snacks available at every meeting.

There is a $20.00 cost per person per class for non-members.

THE SHELF

Provider's Pride collects donations for homeless family's whose students attend Champlin Park High School.  Collections are taken at every Providers Pride meeting.  If you would like to donate listed below is a list of items that are in high demand.

Personal hygiene items (soap, tampons, deodorant, etc.).  Any travel size item works best. 

Clothing (like new and clean).

Food (non-perishable).  Snack sizes work best.

Paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)

Plastic storage baggies in the sandwich size

Any cash donation is appreciated.
